Subject: Obama's Citizenship- the story grows

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move
certain to fuel the debate over Obama's qualifications for the
presidency, the group Americans for Freedom of Information has
Released copies of President Obama's college transcripts from
Occidental College . Released today, the transcript indicates that
Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a
foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school.
The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with
a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of
California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for
financial a id and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from
the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the
scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document
would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama's detractors have been seeking.

Along with the evidence that he was
first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for
US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim. The news has created a
firestorm at the White House as the release casts increasing doubt
about Obama's legitimacy and qualification to serve as president.
When reached for comment in London , where he has been in meetings
with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused
comment on the issue.

Britain 's Daily Mail has also
carried the story in a front-page article titled, Obama Eligibility
Questioned leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow
economic issues on Obama's first official visit to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing
pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that
the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning
Obama's legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by
Leo Donofrio of New Jersey ..

This lawsuit claims Obama's dual
citizenship disqualified him from serving as president. Donofrio's
case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of
Obama's citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States
Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of
Obama's campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation
is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. Attorney General, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment
on the matter.

Two, the TARP bill, I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal.

Three: Czars, I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately. Fire the czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.

Four, cap and trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.

Five, universal healthcare. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and then go on break. Slow down!

Six, growing government control. I want states rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Why don't you start there.

Seven, ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them every time on every real estate deal that closes. I don't trust them with our taxpayer money. Face up to the allegations against them and get it resolved before taxpayers get any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.

Eight, redistribution of wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why ‑‑ what do you have against shareholders making a profit?

Nine, charitable contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and our local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.

Ten, corporate bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead, we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a Band‑Aid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.

Eleven, transparency and accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try ‑‑ please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you obviously take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to your criminal investigation. Stop hiding things from me.

Twelve, unprecedented quick spending. Stop it now.

Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some nonpoliticians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law. I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, a militant or a violent person. I am a parent and a grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy. I am busy, and I am tired. From my perspective, it seems that all of you have gone insane. I also know that I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel that your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed by us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess that you are making. We will have to give up our vacations, our time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford to spend on you to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president often knows all the right buzzword is unsustainable. Well, no kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with that word? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like we're morons.

We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work , pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They may surprise you. For every one of us who will be there, there will be hundreds more that could not come. Unlike you, we have their trust. We will represent them honestly, rest assured. They will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are coming off. We do not come in violence, but we are angry. You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us when hewill rise like a Phoenix from the ashes that you have made of our constitution.

Democrat, Republican, independent, libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now. We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it. You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us. If you are not representing the wants and needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear? Something happened... H.R. 1388 was passed yesterday, behind our backs. You
may want to read about it. It wasn't mentioned on the news... Just went by
on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the

USA. This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of
$20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and
"conflict victims" in Gaza .

The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands of
Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was
signed on January 27 and appeared in the Federal Register on February 4.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a
free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have
displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement
(Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let's review...itemized list of some of Barack Obama's most recent actions
since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas,
leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was
with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here
within the U. S. , but within the world, using U. S. Tax payer funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees
halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the
"terror attack" on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian
refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the blinding
bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

NO WONDER CALIFORNIA IS BROKE!!!

This English teacher has phrased it the best I've seen yet....

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens , Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. ( OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK )

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or20at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial.. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America ..

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements ?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs .

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing , higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc .For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes..

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it. Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education , that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses

to assimilate , and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about " politically correctness " that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

CHEAP LABOR? Isn't that what the whole immigration issue i s about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as=2 0"cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

Cheap labor?20YEAH RIGHT!

Personal definitions, as my experience and education have taught me to understand. I do hope these terms and definitions assist your "understanding" somewhat better.

Definitions of Political Terms

Dahk Knox, Ph.D., Ed.D.

Absolutism - The principle or the exercise of complete and unrestricted power in government.

Autocracy - A government where uncontrolled or unlimited authority is in the hands of one person.

Conservatism – Represented by the Republican Party, or political Right. One who generally favors economic liberty, free markets, private property, privatization of business and lower taxes. They claim to want less, or limited Government. They prefer personal freedoms over equality and they support a strong national defense.

Democracy - A form of government to which the supreme power is vested in and exercised directly by the people or by their representatives elected under a free electoral system.

Dictatorship – One person assumes absolute control of a government and people without the free consent of the people. If the dictatorship is benevolent, there is usually a total consensus of support from the people.

Fascism - A totalitarian governmental system that emphasizes nationalism and racism and is led by a dictator.

Federalism – Serving and advocating a strong central government.

Totalitarianism - Centralized control by an autocratic authority with the citizenry being totally subject to that authority. The King and king only rules.

Socialism - A system of economic organization in which state owns and controls the basic means of production and where centralized planning, rather than market forces, determines the allocation of resources. A centralized government it considered best suited to its own goals and principles for existence, wherein it owns and distributes all wealth and social services within the state, usually collected by raising taxes. A perfect model would take from the rich and give to the poor so everyone was equal.

Communism - A system of social structure, so organized that it will eventually create a fully functional totalitarian state It is lead by a single self-appointed political party. It also controls all economic, political, military and social activity. Religion has no place in this system.

Capitalism - An economic system in which investment in, and ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange of wealth is made and maintained by private individuals. This system supports private property and business ownership, and any legal means by which a person can make profit and keep it or do with it as he wishes.

Marxism - A system of thought developed by Karl Marx, along with Friedrich Engels, which is the basis for the theoretical principles of communism.

Nationalism - A single-minded and blindly directed devotion to the interests and goals of one's own country without the consideration of other peoples or their policies.

National Socialism - The principles and practices of a Nazi party, i.e., in Nazi Germany. Grounded in military authoritarianism, opposition towards democracy, and the belief in the physical, moral, and cultural superiority of the Nordic people; today it centers more on the White Race It idealizes the state and religion takes a far back seat and tolerated position.

Ochlocracy – Rule or government by a mob. This occurs when lost or misplaced common sense and good judgment are coupled with blind hatred and biased prejudice causing all manner of personal freedom and respect to lose their meaning. This is rule without right or representation; it is normally short-lived while always destructive and oppressive.

Progressivism - Favors an extreme liberal diplomacy over military action, stem-cell research, the legalization of same-sex marriage, secular government, stricter gun control, global warming and environmental protection laws. It also includes abortion rights, affirmative action and a belief that our domestic and foreign policy should conform with international directives. No one religious belief is correct. All religious beliefs are positioned linear and considered to be of equal status.

Progressive Liberal - Favors diplomacy over military action, stem-cell research, the legalization of same-sex marriage, secular government, stricter gun control, global warming and environmental protection laws. Also includes abortion rights, affirmative action and a belief that our domestic and foreign policy should conform with international directives as do

most general Progressives.

Republic – Is a state in which the supreme power lies with its citizens. They are entitled to vote. Government power is exercised by representatives voted into office.

Liberalism - Represented by the Democrat Party, or the political Left. Liberalism generally leans towards Democratic Socialism and even some degree of Marxism. Adherents support the welfare state, Social Security and Socialized Healthcare. They believe that by raising taxes, and redistributing wealth, government can eliminate the social inequalities they abhor.

States’ Rights - These are rights that each independent state, within a union, or coalition of states, maintains and are granted (being inviolable from without the laws or jurisdiction of said state), and not to be tampered with or by any other state or government that may attempt to impose its own set of laws or rights upon said state.

Civil Rights - Are rights to personal liberty established by the 13th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution and certain Congressional Acts.

In Taiwan, a woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mouth & eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed death due to arsenic poisoning death. Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.

The professor carefully looked at the contents from the deceased's stomach, in less than half an hour, the mystery was solved. The professor said: 'The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!'

On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of a mess, so here's where we stand.
We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country. We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs. Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are in trouble.
Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leadership.
But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone? 'Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point. Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo? We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened.
Name me one leader who emerged from the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Congress has yet to spend a single day evaluating the response to the hurricane or demanding accountability for the decisions that were made in the crucial hours after the storm. Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping it doesn't happen again. Now, that's just crazy. Storms happen. Deal with it. Make a plan. Figure out what you're going to do the next time. Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, what are we going to do about it?
Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debit, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry. I have news for the gang in Congress. We didn't elect you to sit on your asses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is being hijacked and our greatness is being replaced with mediocrity. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on Fox News will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change?
Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America. In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression', 'World War II', the 'Korean War', the 'Kennedy Assassination', the 'Vietnam War', the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years culminating with 9/11.
I f I've learned one thing, It's this: 'You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play. That's the challenge I'm raising in this book. It's a "Call to Action" for people who, like me, believe in America'. It's not too late, but It's getting pretty close. So let's shake off the crap and go to work. It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.
True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.
Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.
First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their "right" to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our "democracy". Pride blind the foolish.
Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different "branches and denominations" were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the "winning" side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the "winning" side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.
The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America's short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.
These past two weeks have been the most breath taking of all. First came the announcement of a planned redesign of the American Byzantine tax system, by the very thieves who used it to bankroll their thefts, loses and swindles of hundreds of billions of dollars. These make our Russian oligarchs look little more then ordinary street thugs, in comparison. Yes, the Americans have beat our own thieves in the shear volumes. Should we congratulate them?
These men, of course, are not an elected panel but made up of appointees picked from the very financial oligarchs and their henchmen who are now gorging themselves on trillions of American dollars, in one bailout after another. They are also usurping the rights, duties and powers of the American congress (parliament). Again, congress has put up little more then a whimper to their masters.
Then came Barack Obama's command that GM's (General Motor) president step down from leadership of his company. That is correct, dear reader, in the land of "pure" free markets, the American president now has the power, the self given power, to fire CEOs and we can assume other employees of private companies, at will. Come hither, go dither, the centurion commands his minions.
So it should be no surprise, that the American president has followed this up with a "bold" move of declaring that he and another group of unelected, chosen stooges will now redesign the entire automotive industry and will even be the guarantee of automobile policies. I am sure that if given the chance, they would happily try and redesign it for the whole of the world, too. Prime Minister Putin, less then two months ago, warned Obama and UK's Blair, not to follow the path to Marxism, it only leads to disaster. Apparently, even though we suffered 70 years of this Western sponsored horror show, we know nothing, as foolish, drunken Russians, so let our "wise" Anglo-Saxon fools find out the folly of their own pride.
Again, the American public has taken this with barely a whimper...but a "freeman" whimper.
So, should it be any surprise to discover that the Democratically controlled Congress of America is working on passing a new regulation that would give the American Treasury department the power to set "fair" maximum salaries, evaluate performance and control how private companies give out pay raises and bonuses? Senator Barney Franks, a social pervert basking in his homosexuality (of course, amongst the modern, enlightened American societal norm, as well as that of the general West, homosexuality is not only not a looked down upon life choice, but is often praised as a virtue) and his Marxist enlightenment, has led this effort. He stresses that this only affects companies that receive government monies, but it is retroactive and taken to a logical extreme, this would include any company or industry that has ever received a tax break or incentive.
The Russian owners of American companies and industries should look thoughtfully at this and the option of closing their facilities down and fleeing the land of the Red as fast as possible. In other words, divest while there is still value left.
The proud American will go down into his slavery without a fight, beating his chest and proclaiming to the world, how free he really is. The world will only snicker.

SAN DIEGO -- A local pastor and his wife claim they were interrogated by a San Diego County official, who then threatened them with escalating fines if they continued to hold bible studies in their home, 10News reported.

Attorney Dean Broyles of The Western Center For Law & Policy was shocked with what happened to the pastor and his wife.

Broyles said, "The county asked, 'Do you have a regular meeting in your home?' She said, 'Yes.' 'Do you say amen?' 'Yes.' 'Do you pray?' 'Yes.' 'Do you say praise the Lord?' 'Yes.'"

The county employee notified the couple that the small bible study, with an average of 15 people attending, was in violation of county regulations, according to Broyles.

Broyles said a few days later the couple received a written warning that listed "unlawful use of land" and told them to "stop religious assembly or apply for a major use permit" -- a process that could cost tens of thousands of dollars.

"For churches and religious assemblies there's big parking concerns, there's environmental impact concerns when you have hundreds or thousands of people gathering. But this is a different situation, and we believe that the application of the religious assembly principles to this bible study is certainly misplaced," said Broyles.

News of the case has rapidly spread across Internet blogs and has spurred various reactions.

Broyles said his clients have asked to stay anonymous until they give the county a demand letter that states by enforcing this regulation the county is violating their First Amendment right to freely exercise their religion.

Broyles also said this case has broader implications.

"If the county thinks they can shut down groups of 10 or 15 Christians meeting in a home, what about people who meet regularly at home for poker night? What about people who meet for Tupperware parties? What about people who are meeting to watch baseball games on a regular basis and support the Chargers?" said Broyles.

Broyles and his clients plant to give the county their demand letter this week.

If the county refuses to release the pastor and his wife from obtaining the permit, they will consider a lawsuit in federal court.

The subject of this letter is just one more jab in our side, this time directly into our family's side, by this ridiculous administration. I don't want to get started, but I am really angry about this latest nonsense. If he's not going after my veteran benefits, he's tryin' to take my direct investment royalties and it goes on. . .I am sure!

I have decided to register as an Independent, I can no longer tolerate this road to progressivism and government control. With a nationalization of a health care system we will follow the European model of socialism, step-by-step. We must, as a nation of caring and participating citizens, get rid of the 16th (IRS) and 17th amendments (re-write this sucker so we can clean out the dregs of Congress who are out of touch with us common folks), and begin considering going the route of States' Rights!!! The only government control we need is what our State realizes is good for us. Sorry, but I don't want to pay for California State Government mistakes and financial mismanagement, or be responsible for handing out my social security benefits and retirement money to illegals so they can become a permanent fixture of the country, paid for and by our welfare system - and that needs to go to!

My wife and I received a letter today from ABC the President and CEO for XYZP etroleum Corporation which has us livid. We consider this to be just one more item of misery perpetrated by the Obama Administration to make American citizens suffer from their administration’s lack of common sense and caring about those they serve, not subjugate. Although their blatant list is enormous, we only want to deal with this one particular item which will cause our family hardship and loss.

This item is stated by Mr. ABC, in his letter, “As owner of a royalty, overriding royalty, or working interest in aXYZ well or wells, we want you to be aware that the Obama Administration has proposed the elimination of provisions of the Federal Tax Code that have encourage oil and natural gas drilling and production in our country for many years. They would eliminate the deduction for percentage depletion, which currently has a 15% deduction for eligible mineral owners. They would eliminate the intangible drilling costs, and elimination of these deductions would reduce oil and gas producers’ available cash flow for drilling by more than 30%. This would result in 30% less wells being drilled, resulting in a decrease in supply and an increase in cost to the consumer. This is the wrong thing to do. We need secure, domestic energy, nor foreign oil imports.”

Please, please, please hear us and others like us, “we are all opposed to this legislature and any other legislature that will adversely affect the oil and gas industry of and in our country.” We elected you to represent and prevent this type of Obama Administration insanity and blindness toward those of us who fall into this category. Governor John Lynch, described in some media reports as a “centrist Democrat,” sent the “gay marriage” bill back to the legislature with an amendment. He asked the legislature to provide legal protections for pastors and clergy who do not want to be forced to perform same-sex “marriages” in violation of their faith. Without those protections for pastors and clergy, Governor Lynch indicated he might veto the bill.

Guess what happened? Republicans voted against the bill on principle out of opposition to the radical notion of men “marrying” other men. But enough Democrats in the state House of Representatives also voted against the bill and it failed 186-to-188. These liberal Democrats were not voting against “gay marriage,” but were instead voting to kill the religious protections Gov. Lynch requested. Intolerant liberal Democrats in the “Live Free or Die” state proved themselves more committed to the militant homosexual movement than to the First Amendment that guarantees freedom of worship.

I just finished dealing with one groups of democrats talking about how the Bush Administration doubled our budget deficit. Being a new Independent, I choose to look at all angles, both sides. Let's face it the administration was not good; however, when democrats whine about this administration and blame it for the doubling of the budget and the billions of dollars involved there, the lame brains don't consider the Obamanation Administration and how it has quadroupled or maybe quintupled our spending of mega trillions of dollars!!! Hell, I watched in amazement, while standing in a Huey, South Vietnamese staff officers interrogate and then shoot prisoners in the head in choppers, in Nam, and some just got thrown out after they were beaten for not giving the South Vietnamese officers what they wanted. Our government has gotten hosed by these lame brained idiots - these ignorant bleeding-hearts who want to spend American money and time on prosecuting those who wrote the words on paper to waterboard, or whatever. Born in 1947, the son of a dip-lomat, Kaiser spent his childhood in three capital cities: Washington D.C. , Albany, New York, and Dakar, Senegal . History Unfolding

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of "we the people," who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in California over a proposition that is so controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) - the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially 1929 x ten... And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla , Alaska . All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, dr ip by dr ip , is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin's pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)

Mr. Obama's winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning..

As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s In those times, the "savior" was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative "losers" read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his "brown shirts" would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did - regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand - the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by person, department by departme nt, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course,

How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media - did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and .... . .. change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It's all there in the history books.

So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.

Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors.. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next elections.

In the last century, the impassioned words and actions of Patriots like Winston Churchill along with Americas heroic help and sacrifice saved Europe. The eloquence and actions of “I’ve been to the mountaintop” Martin Luther King Jr. brought America to an unprecedented level of social justice. The peerless oratory and tireless diplomacy of the man who would become Israel’s Foreign Minister, Abba Eban convinced the entire world that after the wanton murder of six-million Jews in the Holocaust its straggling survivors deserved their own state of Israel. The inspiring words and decisive actions of President Ronald Reagan ended the Cold War, tore down the Berlin Wall, and restored economic prosperity to America. The efforts of these towering figures resulted in a more highly evolved world. We have also seen the opposite in totalitarian leaders like Hitler, Mussolini, Fidel Castro, Pol Pot, Mao, and Saddam Hussein, among others, who exploited their masses, destroyed their economies, brought havoc, turbulence, grief and massive death within and outside of their countries, and made the world a more dangerous and threatening place. The one thing all of these virtuous and evil men had in common was love for their respective countries, in fact a burning passion that superseded all else. The virtuous believed in freedom and democracy. The evil believed in subjugation of their peoples and lifetime tenures for themselves in order to actualize their goals of conquering their eternal enemies, Americans and Jews. Today, we have a new crop of inveterate America- and Jew-haters, among them the Marxist leader of Venezuela Hugo Chavez, Nicaragua’s president Daniel Ortega, Iran’s death-to-America-and-Israel study-in-abnormal-psychology Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the ever-sabotage-America and anti-Semitic leaders of the 22-Arab states that surround Israel. I have either read about or observed firsthand all of these people. Yet in my decades of commenting on the political scene, I cannot recall a single leader of any country or regime who has ever spoken negatively of his country or tolerated others speaking ill of the land or the people he represented, until now

Bizarre and, yes, repugnant as it is to our essentially centrist country, America now has a president who has broken that time-honored tradition. Barack Obama, on the campaign trail and as the leader of the free world is the first U.S. president to proclaim to anyone within earshot that he, like his wife, is not proud of his country, and is all-too-willing to offer serial apologies for America! to Americans and foreigners alike. As Ed Lasky writes: We know that during the campaign [Obama] warned that criticism of his wife was off-limits. But criticism of America well, that is fine. We also know that during his run for the presidency, Obama expressed sneering condescension towards all those bible-clasping, gun-owning yahoos who cling to those silly things, and that in Europe he consistently gave voice to Americas supposed sins. But all that pales in comparison to the clear contempt looks more like hatred to me that Obama feels for the United States of America and for its most revered founding document, the U.S. Constitution. In just the first 100-days of his tenure, Obama’s words and actions have demonstrated that he is no friend of the country he leads. This is only a smattering of what happened on his recent three-continent trip abroad and to Mexico:

* In France, Obama told his audience that America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive toward Europe.

* In Prague, Obama in true utopian-kindergarten fashion pledged with conviction that America will seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons. In

other words, destroy big bad America’s ability to defend itself!
* In London, Obama made clear that the worlds financial wealth was no longer made by those inferior leaders Roosevelt and Churchill, effectively ceding Americas leading

role in creating and sharing wealth to nations that have never measured up to our country’s bountiful generosity or spirit of free-market entrepreneurship.

* In Venezuela, Obama sat passively while the Marxist Chavez handed him an American-bashing book and delivered another revile-America speech, while never once rising to defend our country.

* In Nicaragua, Obama again sat passively while the Marxist Ortega blamed the United States for a century of what he called terroristic U.S. aggression in Central America, again emitting not a whisper of defense on our country’s behalf.

* In Turkey, Obama said incredibly and inaccurately that America was not a Christian nation.

* And in his recent trip to Mexico, Obama said that the escalating border violence was essentially Americas fault.

Scan you memory. Can you think of any other leader in world history who so consistently badmouthed his own country, or failed to defend it? I can’t.

Wall St. Journal writer Dorothy Rabinowitz notes that Obama had gone to Europe not as the voice of his nation, but as a missionary with a message of atonement for its errors. No sitting American president had ever delivered indictments of this kind while abroad, or for that matter at home. When [our allies] see Obama’s moral equivalence, they realize they are on their own and must cut their own deals to survive, understanding that multicultural trendiness is now a cynical cover for moral laxity and can’t we all get along?

Historian Victor Davis Hanson also noticed something odd about Obama’s apology tour. Despite this fresh climate of atonement, there was a complete absence of a single apology from any other foreign leader…not a word came from Britain about colonialism…nothing from Germany on the Holocaust…not a peep from France about Algeria or Vietnam. Turkey was mum on the Armenian killings…Russia said nothing about the 30 million murdered by Stalin…Nothing came from China about the 70 million who perished under Mao…Mr. Medvedev said nothing about Putins brutish rule…We saw no concrete evidence of any help or hope and change from any foreign leader. Zilch. In addition, Hanson continues, we hear nothing about our Gettysburg, or our entry into World War I. Iwo Jima and the Bulge are never alluded to. Drawing the line in Korea and forcing the end of the Soviet monstrosity are taboo subjects. That we pledged the life of New York for Berlin in the Cold War is unknown. Liberating Afghanistan and Iraq from the diabolical Taliban and Saddam Hussein is left unsaid. The Civil Rights movement, the Great Society, Affirmative Action, and present billion-dollar foreign-aid programs apparently never existed. Millions of Africans have been saved by George Bush’s efforts at extending life-saving medicines to AIDS patients, but again, this is never referenced.

Blogger James Lewis says that Obama’s obsessive need to put down his own country shows a stunningly ignorant man who has evidently never spoken to a Concentration Camp survivor, a Cuban Refugee, a boat person from Vietnam, a Soviet dissident, or a survivor of Maos purges. And Media Research Centers Brent Bozell adds, Obama `gets the America-haters. Abandoning allies, Embracing enemies

If you are a longtime enemy of the United States, count on a grand reception from the Obama administration. All is forgiven and, worse, forgotten, write Dick Morris and Eileen McGann. But if you have a track record as an ally or friend, you won’t get the right time of day. Of course apologists for Obama & Co. point to progress in our foreign policy, ignoring, as Caroline Glick points out, that Americas betrayal of its Democratic allies makes each of them more vulnerable to aggression at the hands of their enemies. Enemies the Obama administration is now actively attempting to appease. Glick lays out the cold hard facts:

* Obama abrogated Americas strategic commitment to the defense of our ally Japan when his administration reacted to North Koreas ballistic missile test by saying the U.S. would only shoot the missile down if it targeted U.S. territory.

* Obama slapped our ally India when he refused to make ending Pakistans support for jihadist terror groups attacking India a central component of its strategy for contending with Pakistan and Afghanistan.

* Obama failed to assure our ally Iraq that democracy and freedom will be secured before U.S. forces are withdrawn next year.

* Obama de facto abandoned our allies in Eastern Europe when he announced his intention to forge a new alliance with Russia. The Czech, Polish, Georgian and Ukrainian governments, Glick says, were quick to recognize that Obama’s strong desire to curry favor with the Kremlin and weaken his own country will imperil their ability to withstand Russian aggression.

* Obama is sacrificing the U.S.s alliance with our ally Israel in a bid to appease the Arabs and Iran by supporting the immediate establishment of a Palestinian state, which, Glick warns, requires Israel to commit national suicide in exchange for `peace. Obama also made clear that from the administrations perspective, an Israeli strike that prevents Iran from becoming a nuclear power is less acceptable than a nuclear-armed Iran. In addition, Obama sent Hamas $900 million of foreign aid, channeled through the UNRWA, a United Nations front filled with Hamas operatives.

* Obama slapped our ally England when he returned the bust of Winston Churchill to Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

* Obama slapped our ally Colombia and its president Alvaro Uribe when he refused to submit the free trade deal with Bogotá to the Senate.

What a great time to be our enemy! Glick exclaims. What a terrible time to be our friend! And speaking about appeasing Iran, the Obama administration recently asked a federal judge to throw out a $6.6-billion class-action lawsuit against Iran filed by 52 American diplomats and military officials held hostage for more than a year at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran 30 years ago. Nothing like selling out Americans to make brownie points with a bloodthirsty dictator! Barry Rubin explains: Friends, especially in Europe, are pleased, applaud, but then add that they don’t have to give this guy anything because he is all apologies and no toughness. They like the fact that he is all carrots and no sticks. If, however, they are states more at risk…they worry that they cannot rely on the United States to help and defend them. Enemies or potential rivals…say that this guy is weak and defeated. He apologizes, offers unconditional engagements, and promises concessions…they’ll eat the carrots and, if possible, their neighbors as well.

NY Post writer Ralph Peters, a former Military Intelligence Officer, sums up the hate-America core tenets of the Obama Doctrine as follows:

(1) We’re to blame,
(2) Problems can be negotiated away,
(3) Problems that cant be talked out can be bought off,
(4) Islamist terrorism doesn’t exist,
(5) Its all our fault,
(6) Israel’s the obstacle to Middle East peace,
(7) Our nukes threaten world peace and we need to get rid of them,
(8) Our military is dangerous,
(9) Our intelligence services are even more dangerous than our military,
(10) It’s only torture if we do it, and
(11) Blame President George W. Bush.

Obama is clearly not satisfied with threatening the safety of our tried-and-true allies abroad. He is also determined to undermine the bedrock foundation of America’s security, our Military and Intelligence agencies. By disclosing interrogation memos and planning to release photographs associated with military probes into prisoner abuse he has betrayed every heroic person who risks his or her life for our country, and unforgivably given aid-and-comfort to enemies who seethe with virulent anti-Americanism and lust for our demise. And in the Department of Homeland Security’s infamous memo, he has called members of our Military, among others, potential Domestic Terrorists!

After September 11th, the general outcry was, why don’t we have better overseas capabilities? said Porter Goss, director of the CIA from September 2004 to May 2006. I fear that in the years to come, this refrain will be heard again. It is certainly not trust that is fostered when Intelligence Officers are told one day I have your back, only to learn a day later that a knife is being held to it. How horrifying to contemplate that it is the President of the United States himself who is wielding that backstabbing knife!

Questioning Obama’s patriotism

Before the November election, legal scholar Henry Mark Holzer wrote and scrupulously documented a stunning indictment of Obama in which he stated that Obama’s repeatedly professed claim to be a Patriot is a fraud on the American people and an insult to the countless true Patriots who, for over two hundred years, have loved and loyally and zealously supported the United States of America. Patriots, Holzer concluded, don’t associate with and derive sustenance from terrorists, America-haters and anti-Semites; they don’t countenance fixed elections; they don’t keep secrets from voters; they don’t intimidate their enemies; they don’t denigrate and degrade our Military; they don’t gratuitously interfere with their governments efforts to protect our country; and they don’t disdain the symbol of this great nation, which for over two centuries men and women have fought and died: the American flag. Whatever Barack Obama is, we can be certain that he is NO Patriot!

The events that have followed Obama’s election, Holzer says, have compounded the proof of the

Presidents’ lack of patriotism, which he has recently spelled out in a follow-up article. A few of the many examples he provides of what a patriotic American president does not do include:

* Bankrupt this country and court massive inflation in order to implement his vision of a fascist/socialist nation.

* Sit on his hands with a straight face while a South American thug insults his country.

* Appoint America-haters to his cabinet.

* Cozy up to a soon-to-be-nuclear-armed Iranian madman.

* Impotently watch the probably-already-nuclear-armed North Korean Stalinists lob a ballistic missile across the Pacific.

* Fail to staunch the flow of illegal aliens across the Mexican-United States border.

* Cut the defense budget.

* Strangle innovation during a serious recession by raising taxes.

* Close Guantanamo Bay without a clue of how to handle the enemy combatants incarcerated there.

* Publicly announce what measures Military and CIA interrogators can use to extract information from terrorists.

* Apologize to the world for what has made America great and grovel to persons, nations. and institutions unfit to shine our shoes!

* Cede American Sovereignty to the American-hating United Nations.

* Defy the Second Amendment and a Supreme Court decision by making an end run that substantially reduces the supply of certain ammunition.

* Repudiate the policy and practice of missile shield installation.

Some dare call it treason

It is one thing to question a presidents patriotism, but even more serious to accuse him of treason. In an open letter to Obama on Treason, Walter Francis Fitzpatrick, III (U.S. Naval Academy, Class of 1975) minces no words in accusing the president of sending Army forces to Samson, Alabama, and Boston in violation of the Constitution. Here are excerpts of his letter: "I have observed and extensively recorded invidious attacks by military-political aristocrats against the Constitution for twenty years. Now you have broken in and entered the White House by force of contrivance, concealment, conceit, and deceit. Posing as an imposter president and commander in chief, you have stripped civilian command and control over the military establishment…" We come now to the reckoning. I accuse you and your military-political criminal assistants of TREASON. I name you and your military criminal associates as traitors. Your criminal ascension manifests a clear and present danger. You fundamentally changed our form of government. The Constitution no longer works….I identify you as a foreign-born domestic enemy. You are not my president. You are not my commander in chief."

Fitzpatrick is not alone. John Smith, a Blogger on Townhall.com, titled a recent article Obama Is a Traitor. Commenting on the presidents release of the torture memos, Smith says: "Given the actions of Barack Obama in recent days, one has to wonder how many soon-to-be released State secrets have been gathered by radical left-wing traitors and hidden in the dark recesses of Washington, awaiting the Manchurian Candidates command to publish them…" The motivation for Obama’s recent intentional disclosure of Top Secret CIA memoranda…was an act committed solely to increase his own political power through appeasement of the radical left…or was it …guided by the twisted moral imperative uniquely embraced by the Left, which dictates that only those actions that serve to limit individual liberty, punish patriotism, and destroy the traditions and culture of the United States of America are good?

Were Obama’s actions motivated by a deeply rooted desire to harm this Nation? Article III of the Constitution defines Treason against the United States as … levying War against them or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort Top Secret information is the highest level of classification that we have on a national level. By definition, such material, if made public, will cause exceptionally grave damage to national security The willful disclosure of Top Secret information is an act of Treason against the United States….A sitting President of The United States of America has committed Treason.

Fitzpatrick and Smith are among a rising tide of voices in and outside of the military who have observed with growing horror Obama’s proclivity to destroy our capitalist economic system, subvert the U.S. Constitution, endanger our military and intelligence services, and obsequiously embrace Americas sworn enemies. Dr. Jack Wheeler, a consummate Washington insider, goes one step further. The evidence that the President of the United States is a traitor is mounting. The evidence that the President of the United States is a mortal danger to America’s national security is mounting. The evidence that the President of the United States will not defend America from threats and insults from every two-bit fascist dictator in the world …is not only mounting, it is overwhelming. Writer Amy L. Geiger-Hammer states: I do wonder if Obama should be called a traitor or just incompetent…does he ever talk about what a great country America is? And UK journalist Gerald Warner echoes that rising tide: If al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the rest of the Looney Tunes brigade want to kick America to death, they had better move in quickly and grab a piece of the action before Barack Obama finishes the job himself. Never in the history of the United States has a president worked so actively against the interests of his own people - not even Jimmy Carter. Obama’s problem is that he does not know who the enemy is. To him, the enemy does not squat in caves in Waziristan, clutching automatic weapons and reciting the more militant verses from the Koran: instead, it sits around at tea parties in Kentucky quoting from the US Constitution.

Is America Lost?

Multiple lawsuits to find proof that Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to be president are ongoing and will ultimately determine if he is an American or Kenyan or Indonesian or UK natural-born citizen. To this date, he has spent over a million dollars blocking the suits about his still-missing birth certificate, and there is increasing evidence that the birth certificate attested to by FactCheck.org, FightTheSmears.org, and DailyKos.com are forgeries. And of course we still have not seen Obama’s Selective Service record, medical records, multiple visas, college transcripts, et al. If Obama is proven to be the fraud and interloper many suspect, every one of his edicts, bills, laws, dictates, Supreme Court selections, et al, will be overturned, leaving America to cope with serious problems under the leadership of the incomprehensible Joe Biden but nothing approaching this hate-America presidents far-left socialist domestic programs and appease-our-enemies foreign policy. The huge national turnouts at the Tea Parties of April 15 were only the beginning of a movement that was spurred by ordinary Americans waking up to Obama’s destruction of our economy, his attempts to reshape America into a banana republic, the grave damage he’s inflicted on our military and intelligence services, and his unsavory predilection for embracing our enemies and apologizing non-stop for the most magnificent nation on earth. In short, they are waking up to the president who hates his country. Editor Charlotte Baker predicts that the Tea Parties and other, more aggressive, protests will grow exponentially, and that the Obama juggernaut can and will be stopped. Its crucial, she says, for all Americans to recall the history they learned in school at least before the Left hijacked what used to be known as `education. The Europeans, Japanese and Russians were all taken over by one form or another of totalitarianism because their combined history was one of absolute rulers kings, czars and `divine emperors. They were totally conditioned to tyranny. But the monstrous anti-American gang that rigged the voting system on November 4, 2008 as they do routinely in Obama’s Chicago Machine politics to push Obama into We-the-Peoples White House, have shown even before his inauguration the kind of overreaching that arrogant tyrants always demonstrate. Hitler, Mao, Tojo and Stalin all got away with overreaching, but they weren’t brutalizing Americans.

Tolerating totalitarianism is simply not in the genetic code the DNA of Americans! Baker adds. Freedom and Liberty run in our blood!

Wonder why we haven’t heard anything about this on the news?

AP- WASHINGTON D.C. - In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College. Released today, the transcript indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate at the school. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California. The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking.

The news has created a firestorm at the White House, as the release casts increasing doubt about Obama’s legitimacy and qualification to serve as president. When reached for comment in London, where he has been in meetings with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Obama smiled but refused comment on the issue. Meanwhile, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs scoffed at the report stating that this was obviously another attempt by a right-wing conservative group to discredit the president and undermine the administration’s efforts to move the country in a new direction.

Britain's Daily Mail has also carried the story in a front-page article titled, “Obama Eligibility Questioned”, leading some to speculate that the story may overshadow economic issues on Obama’s first official visit to the U.K.

In a related matter, under growing pressure from several groups, Justice Antonin Scalia announced that the Supreme Court agreed on Tuesday to hear arguments concerning Obama’s legal eligibility to serve as President in a case brought by Leo Donofrio of New Jersey. This lawsuit claims Obama's dual citizenship disqualified him from serving20as president. Donofrio’s case is just one of 18 suits brought by citizens demanding proof of Obama’s citizenship or qualification to serve as president.

Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation has released the results of their investigation of Obama’s campaign spending. This study estimates that Obama has spent upwards of $950,000 in campaign funds in the past year with eleven law firms in 12 states for legal resources to block disclosure of any of his personal records. Mr. Kreep indicated that the investigation is still ongoing but that the final report will be provided to the U.S. attorney general, Eric Holder. Mr. Holder has refused to comment on the matter.

Panic Time for Pelosi and her Nut House

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has had a bad week. Caught between her own involvement in the CIA interrogations now condemned as torture and her party's inquisitions, Pelosi floundered. Her fear and frustration have apparently given way to panic after word reached her of the CIA's reaction to the damage she, President Obama and other Democrats have done to the spy agency in the last three months.

Pelosi -- as I wrote earlier in the week -- was one of the few members of Congress briefed in detail on the harsh interrogation methods and who could have stopped them but didn't. Pelosi first said that she wasn't briefed about waterboarding. Then she sort of admitted she had, inserting that the CIA only said that they might do it, not that they were going to do it. Which could have been plagiarized from John Kerry's 2004 circular explanation of his vote for the war in Iraq.

As badly as that hurt Pelosi, what apparently pushed her into a panic was the feedback she and other Democrats are getting from the CIA. Pelosi learned that her actions, and those of President Obama and other Democrats over the past ninety days have so damaged CIA morale that the agency's ability to function could be in danger.

As a result, two emergency closed-door meetings were called this week on Capitol Hill.

The first meeting, on Tuesday evening, was attended by Pelosi, Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes (D-Tx) and others. The following night, Pelosi and some or all of the other attendees met with CIA Director Leon Panetta, also behind closed doors.

No Republicans were invited to either meeting which means the Democrats were assessing the damage and deciding how to maneuver their way out from under the responsibility for it. Spin and strategy.

Morale among in the spy agency is so low because of the relentless assault on the CIA in President Obama's first 100 days. The first blow to the CIA was his decision to close the terrorist detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba without any plan on what to do with the 240 dangerous detainees housed there. Many CIA employees believe these people to be killers, responsible for the deaths of CIA operatives overseas. Many in the CIA apparently see this as a betrayal.

The Obama administration plan to set some of these people loose in the US was despite CIA objections.

And then came the president's decision to release the so-called ''torture memos'' and the disavowal of CIA interrogation methods.

The president's on-again, off-again promise to not prosecute CIA operatives who had conducted the harsher interrogations has left many in the CIA uncertain of his real intentions. Leaving up to the Attorney General whether to prosecute the Bush-era lawyers who wrote the ''torture memos'' has added to the already great doubt about the safety and security of CIA interrogators' jobs, and more.

By the end of the meeting Wednesday, Pelosi, Reyes and Panetta apparently determined that damage control had to begin immediately.

Later Wednesday evening, Reyes sent an unprecedented letter to CIA director Panetta making a sort of apology to the CIA. Reyes' cover letter asks Panetta to ''…disseminate it to the CIA workforce as soon as possible.'' (At this writing, the letter has not yet been distributed.) The letter to CIA employees is a very odd mixture of praise for the CIA and CYA for Reyes. (Click here to read the letter)

Reyes begins, ''In recent days, as the public debate regarding CIA's interrogation practices has raged, you have been very much in my thoughts,'' expressing his ''... deep gratitude for the work you do each day.''

But then Reyes retreats into lawyer-isms: ''First and foremost, I wholeheartedly support the President's decision that no CIA officer or contractor will be prosecuted for authorized actions they took in the context of interrogations.'' In other words, if some young prosecutor or Capitol Hill staffer decides you did something unauthorized, you're sunk.

And then comes the CYA for Reyes: ''One important lesson to me from the CIA's interrogation operations involves congressional oversight. I'm going to examine closely ways in which we can change the law to make our own oversight of the CIA more meaningful; I want to move from mere notification to real discussion.''

The fact that ''mere notification'' of the interrogation methods was comprised of a virtual tour of them matters not at all: Reyes' letter says Congress should be held innocent of any wrongdoing. If CIA morale was bad before the letter, it will be vastly worse after it.

Worst of all is the next sentence: ''Good oversight can lead to partnership, and that's what I am looking to bring about.'' If there's anything that could possibly make the CIA even less effective than it was before 9-11, that's it. The nation's security requires that the CIA be strengthened and more effective, not bogged down with congressional tourism.

And, by the way, what Reyes proposes is unconstitutional because it violates the separation of powers doctrine. Not that Reyes would care. But the prospect of more Congressional involvement is just another morale killer.

Obama's first 100 days did enormous damage to our entire intelligence community. It's all too clear that Speaker Pelosi will do much more if she believes it will help her out of the corner she's in. Panicked people make mistakes. Pelosi has made a big one in propelling the inquisition into the CIA interrogations She will make more, and the damage to our intelligence gathering ability may be fatal to many Americans.

Why can can’t people in this country see this????

Answer: Because we are wearing blinders and somehow idiots have managed to take full charge of our government and are in the process of ruining it. If it wasn't for the fact that God was in control, I wouldn't be able to contain myself. I do believe we are doomed, but this must be God's plan somehow, so I must obey Romans 13, the whole chapter. But here we go folks, right down into the political toilet. If you cannot see the similarity, in crystal clarity, between Argentina and us now, then I don't know what to say to you to open your eyes. Stupidity seems to be contagious these days, running rampant through our streets and yelling, "Come along and jump on the clown train going into oblivion. Yes, you! I am inviting you. Your profile is perfect and you fit the mold."

The disastrous path on which America is currently embarked was tried in another country. A fact not well known is that Argentina, prior to World War II, was an economic powerhouse. Beginning in the 1880s and continuing through the 1920s and 1930s, it was regarded as one of the most prosperous and advanced nations in the world. Then Juan Peron and his wife Eva took control in the 1940s until a coup in 1955 ousted them from power.

Argentina had a strong industrial base, thriving agricultural exports, huge cattle ranches, and a broad and expanding middle class. Like America, it served as a magnet for immigrants from all over the world, especially Italians. Within 15 years under the Perons, Argentina, however, went from being one of the richest to one of the poorest countries. To date it has never fully recovered.

Upon coming to office, Peron, along with his popular beautiful wife, Eva, created a state characterized by lavish social spending, elaborate welfare programs, protectionism, confiscatory taxation, and runaway deficits. Juan Peron used class warfare rhetoric. He attacked big business, the banks, the private corporations, and the propertied class. He gave the labor unions power and made them pivotal allies of his regime. Then Peron expanded the bloated government bureaucracy to intervene in every aspect of business and life, which led to internal corruption.

Peron's central socialist economic planning destroyed industrial productivity and growth. The world's investment capital fled. Taxes, inflation, unemployment, and interest rates soared and the middle class was wiped out. Finally, an independent judiciary and media ceased to exist. Eva's cult of supporters fostered a climate of violence and political enemies of the regime were exterminated. Argentina degenerated into the typical debt-ridden Latin American country that it still is today.

The failure of Argentina under Peron should serve as a warning to us. Socialism and a sky-rocketing debt can permanently impoverish even the wealthiest of nations and America is not immune from the laws of economics.

Obama is taking the first dangerous steps toward an American version of Peronism. His followers see him as a political messiah and a revolutionary change agent. He and the Democrats are plundering the country, using it as a vehicle to reward supporters and punish foes. They plan to confiscate wealth by taxing the rich and successful business class. Obama's plan to do away with secret ballets will strengthen the labor unions. His wife, Michelle, is the Eva Peron of our time, a glamorous, chic, socialist fashion trend-setter who is beloved by the media.

Subject: Letter of outrage - must read

This letter was sent to the Wall Street Journal on August 8, 2008 by Alisa
Wilson, Ph.D., Of Beverly Hills, CA in response to the Wall Street Journal
article titled "Where's The Outrage?" that appeared July 31, 2008.

Really. I can tell you where the outrage is. The outrage is here, in this
middle-aged, well-educated, upper-middle class woman. The outrage is here, but I
have no representation, no voice. The outrage is here, but no one is listening
for who am I?

I am not a billionaire like George Soros that can fund an entire political
movement.
I am not a celebrity like Barbra Streisand that can garner the attention of the
press to promote political candidates.
I am not a film maker like Michael Moore or Al Gore that can deliver misleading
movies to the public.

The outrage is here, but unlike those with money or power, I don't know how to
reach those who feel similarly in order to effect change.
Why am I outraged? I am outraged that my country, the United States of America,
is in a state of moral and ethical decline. There is no right or
wrong anymore, just what's fair.

Is it fair that millions of Americans who overreached and borrowed more than
they could afford are now being bailed out by the government and lending
institutions to stave off foreclosure? Why shouldn't these people be made to pay
the consequences for their poor judgment?

When my husband and I purchased our home, we were careful to purchase only what
we could afford. Believe me, there are much larger, much nicer homes that I
would have loved to have purchased. But, taking responsibility for my behavior
and my life, I went with the house that we could afford, not the house that we
could not afford. The notion of personal responsibility has all but died in our
country.

I am outraged, that the country that welcomed my mother as an immigrant from
Hitler's Nazi Germany and required that she and her family learn English now
allows itself to be overrun with illegal immigrants and worse, caters to those
illegal immigrants.

I am outraged that my hard-earned taxes help support those here illegally. That
the Los Angeles Public School District is in such disarray that I felt it
incumbent to send my child to private school, that every time I go to the ATM, I
see "do you want to continue in English or Spanish?", that every time I call the
bank, the phone company, or similar business, I hear "press 1 for English or
press 2 for Spanish." WHY? This is America, our common language is English and
attempts to promote a bi- or multi-lingual society are sure to fail and to
marginalize those who cannot communicate in English.

I am outraged at our country's weakness in the face of new threats on American
traditions from Muslims. Just this week, Tyson's Food negotiated with its union
to permit Muslims to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor Day. What am
I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali Muslim population working at the Tyson's
plant in Tennessee. Tennessee, last I checked, is still part of the United
States. If Muslims want to live and work here they should be required to live
and work by our American Laws and not impose their will on our long history.

In the same week, Random House announced that they had indefinitely delayed the
publication of The Jewel of Medina, by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of
Mohammed's wife, Aisha due to fear of retribution and violence by Muslims. When
did we become a nation ruled by fear of what other immigrant groups want? It
makes me so sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly on the
principles that built this country.

I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a political policy, yet
appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent
article, also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went through over
20 years of history and why talking with Iran has been and will continue to be
ineffective. Yet talk, with a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost
our moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will not go in and
destroy Iran's nuclear program? Would we rather wait for another Holocaust for
the Jews - one which they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?

As if the battle for good and evil isn't enough, now come the Environmentalists
who are so afraid of global warming that they want to put a Bag tax on grocery
bags in California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish something as
insidious as the recycle police in San Francisco. I do my share for the
environment: I recycle, I use water wisely, I installed an energy efficient air
conditioning unit. But when and where does the lunacy stop? Ahmadinejad wants to
wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being overrun by illegal
immigrants, and the United States of America no longer knows right from wrong,
good from evil. So what does California do? Tax grocery bags.

So, America, although I can tell you where the outrage is, this one
middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class woman is powerless to do anything
about it. I don't even feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by
those who disagree with me.

MUSLIM BELIEF

This is a true story and the author, Rick Mathes , is
a well-known leader in prison ministry. The man who
walks with God always gets to his destination.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing
religion per capita in the United States,
especially in the minority races!!!

Last month I attended my annual training session
that's required for maintaining my state prison
security clearance. During the training session
there was a presentation by three speakers
representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and
Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic
Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation
of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.. After the
presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.

When it was my turn, I directed my question to the
Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong,
but I understand that most Imams and clerics of
Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against
the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel,
(which is a command to all Muslims) they are
assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case,
can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and,
without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded,'So, let me make sure I have this
straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded
to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can
have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of
authority and command to that of a little boy who had
just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'

I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem
trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all
Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley
ordering all Protestants to do the same in order
to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your
friend when you and your brother clerics are telling your
followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question:
Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to
kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or
my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going
to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his
head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or
promoters of the Diversification' training seminar were
not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic Imam,
and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty year s there will be enough Muslim voters in
the U.S. to elect the President! I think everyone in the
U.S. should be required to read this, but with ACLU there
is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each
of us send it on! This is your chance to make a difference...

Try to make a difference and pass this email message on to those who may care, who have no apathetic mind, and who may become active in speaking the truth to others in this country. The Tennessee Tornado

What You Can Do to Stay Healthy

There are everyday actions people can take to stay healthy.

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hands cleaners are also effective.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.

Try to avoid close contact with sick people.

Influenza is thought to spread mainly person-to-person through coughing or sneezing of infected people.
If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.

THE COUNTRY of TEXAS

In case things get a little tough during the next few months we Texans
have a plan... Maybe you don't know it, but Texas is the only state
with a legal right to secede from the Union . (Reference the
Texas-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.)

We Texans love y'all Americans, but we'll probably have to take action
since Barack Obama won the election and is now the President of the
U.S.A. We'll miss ya'll though.

Here is what can happen:

1. Barack Hussein Obama, after becoming the President of the United
States, begins to try and create a socialist country, then Texas
announces that it is going to secede from the Union .

2. George W. Bush becomes the President of the Republic of Texas . ..
You might not think that he talks too pretty, but we haven't had
another terrorist attack and the economy was fine until the effects of
the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came to roost.
So what does Texas have to do to survive as a Republic?

· NASA is just south of Houston , Texas . We will control the
space industry.

· W e refine over 85% of the gasoline in the United States . .

· Defense Industry--we have over 65% of it. The term "Don't
mess with Texas ," will take on a whole new meaning.

· Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of Texas
will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee,
we don't know. Why not ask Obama?

· Natural Gas - again, we have all we need and it's too bad
about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will just have to
figure out a way to keep them warm...

· Computer Industry - we lead the nation in producing computer
chips and communications equipment - small companies like Texas
Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor,
Motorola, Intel, AMD, Atmel, Applied Materials, Ball Misconduct, Dallas
Semiconductor, Nortel, Alcatel, etc. The list goes on and on.

· Medical Care - We have the research centers for cancer
research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world,
as well as other large health centers. The Houston Medical Center
alone employees over 65,000 people.

· We have enough colleges to keep educating and making smarter
citizens: University of Texas , Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas
Christian, Rice, SMU, University of Dallas , University of Houston ,
Baylor, UNT ( University of North Texas ), Texas Women's University,
etc. Ivy grows better in the South anyway.

· We have an intelligent and energetic work force and it isn't
restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in Texas , we are a Right to
Work State and, therefore, it's every man and woman for themselves.
We just go out and get the job done. And if we don't like the way one
company operates, we get a job somewhere else.

· We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and
insurance industries, etc.

· In case of a foreign invasion, we have the Texas National
Guard, the Texas Air National Guard, and several military bases. We
don't have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six
rifles and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need
one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the
Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas
Rangers.

· We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and
several types of grain, fruit and vegetables, and let's not forget
seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook
them so that they taste good. We don't need any food.

· Three of the ten largest cities in the United States , and
twenty-three of the 100 largest cities in the United States are located
in Texas . And Texas also has more land than California , New York ,
New Jersey , Connecticut , Delaware , Hawaii , Massachusetts ,
Maryland , Rhode Island , and Vermont combined.

· Trade: Three=2 0of the ten largest ports in the United States are
located in Texas .

· We also manufacture cars down here, but we don't need to. You
see, nothing rusts in Texas so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well
for decades.

This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of Texas
in good shape. There isn't a thing out there that we need and don't
have. Now to the rest of you folks in the United States under President
Obama: Since you won't have the refineries to get gas for your cars,
only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 9 mpg
SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.

You won't have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off
satellite communications.

You won't have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Mr. Obama
has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as long as you
survive the 2000 years it will take to get enough heat from Global Warming.

In other words, the rest of ya'll in the USA are screwed!

Modern-Day Fairy Tale

And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land

called America , having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will

to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known

as "The One". He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning;

but He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you. My lack

of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association

with evil doers are of no consequence. For I shall save you with Hope and

Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who preceeded

me is evil, that he has defiled the nation, and that all he has built must

be destroyed."

And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would

do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed.

And "The One" said "We live in the greatest country in the world. Help me

change everything about it!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Change is good!"

Then He said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats,"----

And the people said "Sock it to them!"

"---- and redistribute their wealth.."

And the people said, "Show us the money!"

And then He said, "Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody"

And Joe the plumber asked, "Are you kidding me? You're going to steal my

money and give it to the deadbeats??"

And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were

hacked and publicized.

One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?"

And she was banished from the kingdom!

Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero

military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical

terrorists?"

And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and

show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted

to kill us all!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our

weapons into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes."

And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes."

So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats

pay!"

And the people said, "Hallelujah!! Show us the money!"

Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your

homes!"

And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed.

And He said, "I shall mandate employer- funded health care for EVERY worker

and raise the minimum wage. And I shall give every person unlimited

healthcare and medicine and transportation to the clinics."

And the people said, "Give me some of that!"

Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."

And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry and electricity

rates will skyrocket!"

And the people said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we

don't care for that part about higher electric rates."

So "The One" said, "Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your

expenses, we shall bail you out. Just sign up with ACORN and your troubles

are over!"

Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted.. Let's grant

them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical

care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing...."

And the people said, "Hallelujah!!" And they made him King!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and

ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply

gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock

dropped from a cliff The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing

slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the "The One" - The Messiah - and I'm here to

save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!"

But our foreign trading partners said unto Him, "Wait a minute. Your dollar

is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more..."

And the people said, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!"

And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have

embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now

you shall play by our rules!"

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?"

But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon "The One" and spat upon

him and stoned him, and his name was dung.. And the once mighty nation was

no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or

hope.. And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison

that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had

built.

And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "Give

us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!"

But it was too late, and their homeland was no more.

Now, you may think this is a fairy tale, but it's not. It's happening RIGHT

NOW.
